First Circle pays tribute to the legendary Pat Metheny Group. For one evening, the musicians invite audiences to rediscover the landmark repertoire of the Pat Metheny – Lyle Mays duo, whose work left a lasting mark on contemporary jazz throughout the 1980s and 1990s. The Montreal-based ensemble offers a vibrant and respectful reinterpretation of these works, highlighting the group’s dynamic interplay, improvisational spirit, and the rich orchestral textures that define this music. First Circle celebrates a universal and timeless repertoire, conceived for attentive concert halls and an immersive listening experience.
